Three Step Strawberry Ice Cream

I’m obsessed with ice cream, but can’t stand home ice cream makers. They’re a big fuss and never really work well. I think I’m just spoiled from my years in restaurants and ice cream shops… This hasn’t stopped me from making homemade ice cream though! Instead I just have to be more creative. Here’s the first of many:

Three Step Strawberry Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen strawberries

  • 1 13-oz can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 cup Oreos, roughly chopped (or any other dry mix-ins of your choosing!)

Directions

  1. Put a medium size bowl into the freezer to chill.

  2. Place frozen strawberries into a food processor. Pulse until they become tiny dices. Add sweetened condensed milk and pulse again until smooth.

  3. Transfer ice cream into chilled bowl and mix in your Oreos or dry mix-ins of choice

  4. For a soft serve consistency, enjoy right away! If you like your ice cream a little harder, place in the freezer to firm up to desired texture.
